K. Jason and Kelli Krafsky (a.k.a. The Social Media Couple)
Jason and Kelli Krafsky have a passion to empower people with common sense and healthy boundaries for marriages, families and relationships in this social media age.
Active Facebookers since early 2008 and inspired by the trial and error lessons they learned from their own Facebook experience, the Krafskys wrote the FIRST BOOK on how social media affects marriages (Facebook and Your Marriage) and many popular blog articles on Facebook-related relationship issues.
Their new blog, Techlationships.com, focuses on future trends and current stories on how technology affects relationships.
The Krafskys have emerged as trusted voices and respected authorities to media and professionals on how social media impacts relationships. They’ve been featured on TV, newspapers, radio, podcasts, and magazines.
Kelli and Jason have been referenced and featured in many news stories and articles on social media’s impact on marriages, including The New York Times, The Washington Times, Wall Street Journal Online, The Seattle PI, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Chattanooga Times Free Press and The Oregonian. The Social Media Couple have also been interviewed for radio, podcast and television programs, including Martha Stewart Living Radio, The Mike Huckabee Show, and Family Life Radio and countless news shows.
As a marriage junkie, Jason supports his habit by training leaders on marriage issues, writing articles and blog posts on marriage issues, and coaching communities, churches and organizations on marriage strengthening strategies.
Over the last 13 years, Jason has trained thousands of pastors, counselors and leaders in premarital, marriage and relationship programs and provides leadership with the Marriage CoMission, Coalition for Marriage, Couple and Family Education and Association of Marriage and Family Ministries. He is trainer of trainers in PREPARE/ENRICH and trained to facilitate many of the best marriage and relationship programs including: PREP, PAIRS Essentials, FOCCUS, Couple Communication, Mastering the Mysteries of Love, and more.
In 2005, Jason wrote and published his first book, Before "I Do" - Preparing for the Full Marriage Experience, an interactive, premarital workbook for couples used by hundreds of churches and organizations.
Jason is a nationally-recognized expert in building Healthy Marriage Initiatives through consulting hundreds of leaders and helping nearly 100 initiatives around the country over the last 13 years. Since 2007, he has worked with the California Healthy Marriages Coalition and before that, worked with Families Northwest for more than a decade.
Jason’s ultimate fix comes from his wife Kelli.
Kelli has been married to Jason since 1994. For most of their life together, she has focused on and invested in the lives of their four children, ranging in ages from nine to fourteen. A former elementary school teacher, Kelli home schooled the kids for nine years until 2009.
Over the years, Kelli has worked with young wives, unwed, pregnant mothers and volunteered for several schools, churches and community-based organizations. She has spoken with Jason to married couples groups, taught premartial classes and been involved with the Marriage CoMission and Association of Marriage and Family Ministries.
In early 2009, she began co-writing articles with Jason, including, "Our Top Dozen Do’s and Don’ts for Facebooking Couples," “How Facebook Can Improve Your Marriage” and “Is Facebook a Cyber-Threat to Your Marriage?” Due to the popular demand of the articles, Kelli and Jason began writing Facebook and Your Marriage, which was released in 2010.
